My husband was born in Ohio, raised in Texas, and will tell you he is a Texan by choice. My father-in-law, may he rest in peace, was a Texan. My brother-in-law, who I heartily disagree with on almost everything, I will give him this, he is a Texan. My sisters-in-law are Texans.
