if fantasy genre reincarnation were real (ie, the kind where everyone always reincarnates as human and can recover most if not all previous-life memories) humans would use it for such DUMB SHIT you guys. like every other week you’d get headlines like “20 year old cave diver vanishes down This One Fucking Cave for the 5th life in a row.” and the body of the article would be like “His last words were ‘This time I’m going to find out what’s at the bottom of that crevasse!’ We’ll see you when you get your memories back in 16 years Dylan, the scientific community can’t wait to find out what was at the bottom of that crevasse.”
