“y'all” is one of those Americanisms I really quite like and often find myself saying. except it sounds aweful in my accent because I have neither the cot-caught merger nor the father-bother merger. so instead of a light “yaal” I end up with an over-rounded “yôl” which,, ugh
I mostly just say it through text
