okay look i know this tweet is a joke, but i graduated last year and our valedictorians speech can be summed up as “You are all at rock bottom, but not me, because I’m going to Harvard.” We were told at the beginning of the last 6 weeks that ¼ of our class wasn’t going to graduate. The last week we were told that we were all (even if just barely) passing.
His speech was insensitive at best. I’m surprised he didn’t get beat up afterwards for it (fights were very common at our school), to the point where i think he just booked it out of there after the ceremony was done. So yeah, give us both sides, let the kid who did the worst roast the shit out of the valedictorian.
