Hello, we at genderselectors.org.gov.com try to give our customers the best way to ask someone for their gender on their website.
In the past we just had a drop down menu with male or female but we quickly realized that this didn’t cover every option.
We tried many things like giving the user the option to upload a custom gender up to 10MB. However that only led to people uploading a zip file containing the first doom game.
Then we tried to give them the option to enter a custom text. However this again only led to people writing ‘ACAB’.
Now we have finally found the perfect solution
By letting the user select how male, female and gay they are we can cover every gender identity without letting the user break the form.
