I’m going to add to this with advice for any teacher running into this situation.
Ask to borrow the kid’s computer for a second, and use the AI. Pick a word, then pick a letter that is not in that word. Ask chatGPT how many times that letter appears in said word. (Avoid “how many Ns in Mayonnaise” because that went viral and got trained out.) Hell, give ChatGPT multiple tries. Ask it to demonstrate each time that letter appears in a word.
Let the entire class witness chatGPT fail. Because it cannot count. It cannot spell. It cannot think. Please put your lesson plans aside for a class and use it as a learning opportunity.
To add to your arsenal for educating these kids, please look into the concept of AI hallucination. AI cannot perceive things and has no ability to think critically, which means it cannot tell what’s real and what’s not. Really drill into these kids that they are better off asking advice from a toddler.
I used the characterAI bot instead of chatGPT in this case, but chatGPT has the same issues, because neither bot is capable of thinking about what it’s saying.

i’m working on a more consistent sticker style, i’ve been procrastinating on this for a while. Here’s 2 attempts. The second one has a little less drop shadow (a bit bitter that way) and less shadow on the ear fluff, but minimal shading is ideal overall, same with the palette. I’ll release this pack once i get it pretty stacked up (at least 12 but i’m planning around 24 or more)

But what I’ve learned recently is that Mormons that are really deep in the sauce need to believe that everything they’ve ever learned about Joseph Smith is fact. The Book of Mormon can’t just be a nice story that isn’t real in a literal sense but can be meaningful spiritually like how to me as a science believing Lutheran genesis is just a nice story that can still have spiritual significance. It’s gotta be real. Everything has to be real in a literal sense.
There’s no dna or archeological evidence that anything in the Book of Mormon is real though and Joseph Smith did by most accounts tell a dead body to get up and it didn’t. That little child stayed dead and many people left his church because of it.
Does this mean Joseph Smith wasn’t a prophet? I mean I don’t think he was but I’m not Mormon. Never have been, never plan on being one. Many rational people might hear about him being a conman and still think he was a prophet anyways. God works in mysterious ways after all. Others will have their entire worldview brought into question upon learning that.
Anyways, dude also reportedly told a man’s broken hand to work again and then it didn’t. Like two dozen people left after that fiasco.
