Quick google search pulled up a reddit thread with this image from 5 years ago so I don’t think it’s AI, consensus seems to be that it’s an Giant African Land Snail but this is the only picture I can see of one being THIS big so it’s possible the photo is either edited OR shot in a clever way to make the snail, and the person’s hand, look bigger. However, they could also just be really skinny? I’ve seen some skinny people with wild proportions so I wouldn’t rule it out, but I figure it’s probably edited/shot in a specific way.
Also! Apparently holding one like this is a TERRIBLE idea! They carry parasites that can infect on contact so if this image is of that type of snail and, regardless of possible size editing/exaggeration, this person is indeed holding it with their bare hands, this is wildly unsafe, and I have to then assume due to this being in a regular house this might be some illegal exotic pet nonsense or at least a sign that this person is unfit to care for this type of animal.
I could be wrong tho, seems like the comments here and on the reddit post have more than a few people pointing out the parasite thing, but I did see a video of another person showing off the same kind of snail that did seem to be the size of their hand but like, their hands looked normal sized, so it was maybe as big as a softball or so, and it did appear that they had some gloves on, so it might be safe to own these but this specific person took an unsafe, edited pic for the clout.
Def worth doing some more research on tho! it is super easy to get enrolled - the application takes like 5 minutes, but it has to be with someone who is certified to do it (most likely an advocate! try going to a family justice center in your area or calling the Attorney Generals office in your area!!!!)

I hate when an artist gets exposed for being a bad person and people start the narrative “why would you even want to listen to their shitty music” when are we going to be freed from the idea that only good people create good art and bad people create bad art. It just makes it harder for these types of people to be exposed because now you got people thinking “how is this possible, his music is so good!”
more controversial (for tumblr at least) addition to this - the argument that “people should have known based on the subject matter of the songs” is also extremely unhelpful. Songs can be fictional and cathartic depictions of bad emotions or thoughts and I don’t think they should be used as evidence that someone is bad. If that subject matter makes you uncomfortable especially given hindsight that’s one thing, but I don’t think that should be confused with “evidence” or a sign “people should have known”. I think this line of thinking just ensures artists are going to make much more boring music
Okay, you need to make sure you play this game at some point.
