this is probably the only sex gif i will every reblog, because for some reason i feel like it’s more than just sex. i don’t know if it’s how they’re actually looking at one another or the way they can’t get close enough. he’s actually looking at her like a person and not just a sex object.
but then again, it could be all in my head. i mean, this is how i would want it to be. but that’s just me.
I’m cat sitting for my aunt and this cat wants so badly to sleep in the very center of my bed. I wish I could explain to her that she cat do that because I’m a rough sleeper and I don’t wanna hurt her on accident and I’ve let her sleep on my lap like all day so that’s why I’m shutting the door on her
But instead she’s like oh you move me out of your room, human? You deny me your large wall of warmth? Prison for thee.
She has a mini cat stuffed animal she cuddles with when she sleeps alone though so the cuteness of that hasn’t made a good argument in her favor here like I come out in the morning and see her curled up with a tiny toy version of herself basically like I’m not gonna deny myself that. I’m only gonna be here for so long I need to savor that image while I have it
hey uhhh but fr the concept of fallen angels existing but risen demons being an impossibility is kind of a great summary of sin in christianity
holy shit
no, no, come back here and tell me how stupid it is to talk about how the power dynamics inherent to christianity are built upon the rhetoric that failure is unavoidable and there is never enough you can do to make up for it
There’s an EU initiative going on right now that essentially boils down to wanting to force videogame publishers with paid games and/or games with paid elements such as DLC, expansions and microtransactions to leave said games in a playable state after they end support, or in simpler terms, make them stop killing games.
A “playable state” would be something like an offline mode for previously always online titles, or the ability for people to host their own servers where reasonably possible just to name some examples.
I don’t think I need to tell anyone that having something you paid for being taken from you is bad, which is a thing that routinely happens with live service and other always online games with a notable recent example being The Crew which is now permanently unplayable.
Even if you’re not European or you signed it already, you can share this initiative with anyone who is, even if they don’t care about videogames specifically because this needs a million signatures and there is different thresholds that need to be met for each EU country for their votes to even count and could also be a precedent for other similar practices like when Sony removed a bunch of Discovery TV content people paid for.
This would be great. Recommended for my EU followers.
“OP why are you mad that your words are being misinterpreted you’re on the piss on the poor website” actually i think it’s very reasonable to demand people pay attention to the words they use, the choices they make, the things they believe, and their capacity for empathy and comprehension and that it’s sort of weird that you’re finding humor in making excuses to just believe that there simply is no possible way to improve your actions

Not like this hasn’t been happening in the military for years.
Yep! My dad was in the Coast Guard during the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell era and one thing he mentioned was gay and lesbian service members marrying each other both for mutual bearding, and because married people got better housing.
Additionally my grandmother married one of her guy friends because her job offered dental insurance to employees and spouses and he needed some dental work done. They got married, processed the paperwork, got his dental problems fixed, made sure all the insurance payments went through, and divorced.
Two people getting married for the benefits has been going on as long as we’ve had benefits to marriage, and if two women doing it is homophobic then I guess someone’s going to have to tell my grandmother she was heterophobic.
also let people get married platonically??? like apparently the people referenced in this video weren’t just doing it for tax benefits, they’re marrying because of their close connection and desire for commitment. like they plan on co-parenting and shit. platonic intimacy exists! romantic connection isn’t inherently more important!
Marriage literally exists for convenience, fuck yeah get hitched
kinkshaming is needed and respectable. we need that kind of behavior. in the same vein that bullying is required to teach people doing mean/weird stuff is bad if theyre not feeling that internally.
this post also doubles as a kind of convenient bug repellent
Ohhh I get that post about Tumblr being rancid that the person I’m reblogging this from made
It’s because they surround themselves with rancid and horrible people without critical thinking skills like @/angelicguy , it’s no wonder.
It’s clear that using shame and bullying to try and insure the moral values of a group/society is a bad idea. This is a pretty basic and sensible opinion. Why?
Well, if the “wrong” moral values, that it seeks to stamp out, are truly harming anyone then shaming and bullying wouldn’t make any sense, and different actions could and would have to be taken instead.
This means that the values and actions which proponents of bullying and shaming want to prevent are in fact harmless. And harmless acts shouldn’t be prosecuted in any way, shape or form.
If you believe that someone should be prosecuted because they eat certain foods, look a certain way or act in harmless ways that seem or are disgusting to you well then congratulations, you are a textbook bigot.
honestly i wish i got into reddit or something instead of tumblr in high school. not even joking this place is a rancid environment and it’s probably one of the worst social media spaces for mental health which is saying something considering how un-marketable and influencer-unfriendly it is. it’s the epitome of training your brain to assume the worst in everyone, promote selfish and toxic behavior as bold, and lose the ability to think critically. i was going to make this into a joke but i can’t think of one. well here’s a cool image i made of presidemt joe biden having anti-ludacris effect on bts
It’s the exact opposite for me… and I could probably say all of those things about Reddit or Twitter.
I guess I’m just really good at blocking people that are rancid?
When writing always remember… a character flaw is only a flaw until becomes useful.
Is your protagonist manipulative? Well that’s awful… until they manipulate the antagonist into making a decision that saves the lives of their friends.
Is your protagonist a skeptic? Well that’s not good… until someone tries to lie to them.
Is your protagonist overprotective? That sucks… until someone they love is in danger.
Is your protagonist remorseless? Well that makes them pretty unlikeable… until a hard decision has to be made.
The flipside is also true!
Your protagonist is honest? That’s good… until their survival depends on them being able to lie convincingly.
Your protagonist is brave? That’s good… until they foolishly run headlong into danger without a thought for the consequences.
Your protagonist is forgiving and able to see good in everyone? That’s good… until they continually forgive someone who doesn’t deserve it, and get taken advantage of because they can’t fathom that some people just suck.
Your protagonist is funny? That’s good… until they piss off everyone around them because they don’t seem to be taking the situation seriously, and they keep avoiding dealing with their problems by hiding behind humor.
Most personality traits aren’t inherently good or bad. It’s all about context, and how far they go.
Why are so many of these bullseye descriptions of the Voices
in my most recent game of team defense fort 2 i was banned from a 24/7 hightower pony rp server for screaming ‘incoming gamer!’ into my mic every time i respawned or charged as demoman. and i have to say, nothing really prepares you for the sensation of hearing a grown man say with no hint of irony in his voice, ‘mr sex goblin, if you dont stop saying that im banning you from ponyville forever’
Mister sex goblin… if you don’t stop saying that, I’m going to have to ban you from Ponyville.
the beauty of tumblr’s retrochronological dash is that when you come back online, if the first post you see is “okay im normal now” you know you’re about to witness the most spectacular meltdown a mutual has ever had in recent memory, followed by the impetus that trigger the entire event
Shearing half a sheep seemed a simple way to show a season’s growth of wool, but photographer Cary Wolinsky was wrong. The half-shorn sheep tended to lose their balance and topple to wool-ward. It took many tries before merino sheep number 30 “became our hero,“ Wolinsky said.
*photographer wants to take a cool photo, inadvertently discovers sheep physics* is an all-timer of a story
anyway i looked up the post about seeing your grandma’s boobs and tumblr has deleted the screenshot of the story where the finnish dude says that americans are “like that” because they haven’t seen their grandma’s tits
good job tumblr 👍
there it is!
my comments on that post were (sorry for shamelessly copy-pasting them):
american attitudes about nudity are fucking wild, and the worst part is that because they’re american, they just assume that everyone everywhere thinks the same. i will never forget seeing people on a left-leaning, progressive site saying that families bathing together is creepy and gross and clearly a sign that something is wrong with the family, that they’d never seen their siblings or parents naked and would in fact rather die. meanwhile to this day i bathe and go to the sauna with my sister and mother and have been bathing and sauna'ing with various family members - and even strangers! - my whole life.
but yes, can confirm, seeing your grandma’s tits as a child does you good, and not just because it teaches you that “beauty is fake and temporary”, but because it broadens your ideas about what beauty even is in the first place. my sister and i used to spend our summers at our grandma’s house by the countryside and frequently bathed and went to sauna with her. we saw not just her breasts but also her flabby skin, her moles and liver spots, her body hair and varicose veins, and we didn’t see any of that as weird or ugly because they were a part of our grandma who we loved very much. and when we see those things in other people - ourselves included! - we think “well it wasn’t ugly on my grandma’s body, so why would it be ugly on anyone else’s body?”. it makes you much more understanding and “forgiving”, if you will, towards the completely normal bodies of strangers as well as your own body.
hot take apparently but i think it’s good for white people to relate to poc’s art. i think it’s good for straight people to relate to queer art. stop acting like we’re different species who could never possibly understand each other what the fuck is wrong with you
