for a full story. got an email notifying me that @jaroro-64 blazed one of my posts(this one) around 11:09. then at 14:38 i got a second email saying the campaign was rejected
this isn’t the first time i have seen palestine related posts get rejected from a blazing campaign. here is an example.
the post was asking help and donations to provide esims for people in gaza. which in no way or form fall under any of the reasons provided on your help page
as esims are the only way for people in gaza to show the world the crimes being committed against them. not to mention censorship of palestain related posts in general, as shown in previous post linked

im having feelings about the uffington white horse again
so essentially there’s this cool horse drawn into the hills in england made out of chalk and it’s like 3,000 years old.
people carved trenches 3,000 years ago and filled them with chalk in the shape of a horse but what’s interesting is that if you fail to maintain the horse by adding new chalk regularly, it will disappear. for 3,000 years, we’ve been filling in chalk in this horse so it doesn’t disappear.
we’ll never know what the purpose of the horse was originally. we’ll never know if it had ritual or spiritual significance or if it was just art. but we do know that people maintained it then, and, even though the meaning of the horse has long been lost to time, we continue to maintain it now.
the people who made this horse are long dead, but they live through us still, don’t you think?
I think it needs to become common knowledge that “inability to read social cues” can show up as overcompensating.
You don’t know how much misbehaviour is allowed, so you become the perfect child who never tests rules.
You don’t know if someone is irritated with you, so you’ll be extra generous and self-effacing.
You don’t know how much is expected of you at work so you’ll kill yourself in a minimum-wage job and not notice that nobody else is working like this.

So for this cisgender woman with naturally high testosterone (and/or an intersex condition, I do not know her specific condition and it’s honestly none of my business) has to be be forced to take the same testosterone suppressing medications that these same competitive regulatory committee said wasn’t good enough to suppress trans women’s testosterone to allow them to compete in women’s sports.
If she has naturally high testosterone, similar to that that trans women experience in their lives pre-transition then wouldn’t she have the same advantages that a trans woman supposedly inherently has and can not be corrected with said testosterone suppression?
Like, no one should have to undergo forced medical treatment to be able to compete or to make it “fair” for their competition. Other athletes have all kinds of natural advantages, like Michael Phelps having an abnormal wingspan and larger lungs and heart. In fact, every high level athlete has some kind of physical advantage, that’s how they’re such high level athletes. You think the people they beat out for their spots just, what, didn’t work as hard? Didn’t grab those bootstraps tight enough? Fuck no.
Racism, intersexism, and transphobia are all linked, and this case is maybe the most glaringly obvious one.

If you use Firefox, you can go to the about:config page, search for “media.mediasource.enabled” and double click on it to set it to false. After you restart Firefox, all youtube videos will load entirely even when paused! This also affects other streaming websites :)

media.mediasource.enabled on its own didn’t work for me, but with these two additions it seemingly loaded a whole 40 minutes test video in like ten seconds. seems this might not have worked fully for some so yall’s mileage may vary i guess
the other two additions alone didnt work for me, i also had to disable the source so it seems like all 3 might need enabled? ymmv im gonna try turning off my internet and seeing what ACTUALLY loaded and what just Appeared to load. stand by for report back
