The lands have been in trouble for a long time. Wherever one goes, everyone looks after themselves with no concern for those around. Leaders have fallen, Queens and Kings vanished, and humans scramble to make do.
Until one morning, a satyr wanders from the safety of her realm to find heroes she’s sang songs about that will help save the lands.
Our satyr has set off, skipping through the woods on her hooves. In her hands, she holds her treasured panpipe. It’s been with her since she crafted it as a child with her parents. Now, it’s her only company through familiar overgrown woods playing her tune as she bids farewell to all she knows.
When the trees around her grow tall with leaves in shades of green rather than purple, and the whisps are gone, she knows she is in a land none of her kin has ventured into for a long time.
As she skips through the woods, determined to find legendary heroes to save these lands, we will soon find out which road she finds herself on. Before we do, one important question remains…
The forest is lush with life and fey were our satyr comes from. In these human lands, the furry beasts have fewer horns and stripes but enjoy her tunes the same still.
A family of mushrooms with thick stems and red hats grow by a tree stump. The once sturdy tree has been cut down to serve as a bridge over a flowing river.
Following the man-made path may lead her to whoever cut it down. They must have been strong, and heroes need their strength!
However, humans often settle near rivers and waterholes. Following the river would lead her to more humans. More heroes!

i called up the jerk store and asked if they had you in stock. They said they actually have way too many of you because nobody wants to buy you. they observed her overnight and got Animal Control to do a check-up on her. she’s fine

I would do platypus for most of the body, raven for wings and intelligence, peacock for coloring, and pigs for the noises because pig snorts make me laugh.

My ideal animal to play God at making would HAVE TO BE:
Soft. Ideally pettable. Furry, but not like. Bristly or oily
Not stinky. Dogs always smell like foot, I’m sorry
Affectionate, but not clingy
Character-ful. Imperfect. TOO cute or sweet and we get into uncomfortable uncanny Valley territory.
Self-sufficient. Will it survive in it’s natural habitat? Can it protect itself from stupid people? Needs some form of self-defense.
NOW, given these criteria I have chosen THESE CREACHURS :
MOLE
Mole fur sticks directly up from its body to minimize friction when digging forwards OR backwards. With the fur of the mole, THIS CREACHUR is PETTABLE IN ALL DIRECTIONS.
2. CRESTED AUKLET
For some godforsaken reason, the crested anklet is a bird which releases the smell of SWEET TANGERINES, a scent which I am personally fond of. THIS CREACHUR smells DELIGHTFUL.
3. DOMESTIC CAT
THIS CREACHUR is AFFECTIONATE TOWARDS HUMANS, but not so much that it’s constantly trying to crawl up your ass. IDEAL SOCIAL COMPANION
4. SILKY ANTEATER
The silky anteater, like the platypus, is a SLIGHTLY FUCKED LITTLE GUY. Look at him. He’s adorable, but not saccharine. He’s approachable. Believable. Somewhat muppet-like. A real down-to-earth guy. An everyman sort of freak. A friend.
5. EMPEROR SCORPION
One of the more chill scorpions, the Emperor Scorpion is MILDLY VENOMOUS. By which I mean, like. Bee sting-level. You probably won’t let your toddler goof around with one, but you could still feasibly keep one as a pet. THIS CREACHUR is SECURE
TO CONCLUDE:
We are looking at an affectionate, roughly kitten-sized animal with a cat’s temperament and the fur of a mole, which smells of citrus fruits, is shaped like a silky anteater, and is able to deliver a first-painful, then mostly-just-itchy sting when threatened. Artist’s render pending

Edit: Apparently I’ve been informed and did some searching around, citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes) are toxic for dogs/animals. Please don’t feed your pets citrus fruits!
Its been 7 years now since the lost on my previous cat, Max. Why am I bringing up Max?
I make it my mission every year on the day I lost him to educate people on what they feed their pets as it can ultimately decide how well and long your animal will live. I made this mistake and because of it that I lost Max at the age of 4, far too young for any cat.
Max was on a diet of dry kibble called Deli Cat produced by Purinaand unknown to me at the time, didn’t know it was utter crap for cats and can ruin a male cat’s urinary system. Wasn’t until that weekend in March that Max declined rapidly and spent all weekend trying to save his life, driving him to animal hospitals and vets. Sadly after all efforts, I decided to put Max down due to his chances at the surgery were so slim and he was suffering. I can’t even describe to you guys the bloody screams of pain he made through out the weekend, its something you don’t forget.
I know a lot of folks that had this happened to their male cats and had similar fates. Its because of his that in Max’s honor that I spend every year on this day telling people his story and try to educate people on what they feed their critters. If you feed your animal ‘supermarket brand pet foods’, throw it out. That stuff in nothing more than corn and meat meal that isn’t suitable for cats or dogs at all. It might say it meets the standard of pet nutrition but its not, not by a long shot. If you want to make the switch to better quality foods, go for high grade foods that have meat as their first ingredients and isn’t packed full of grains, rice and corn.
I’ve learned to educate myself on pet foods and from my research found that raw diets are the best for most animals like cats, dogs and ferrets. If raw isn’t your thing, you can stick to high quality wet foods as the next best thing followed by high quality kibble. You can get middle grade foods but as mentioned above, make sure first ingredients are of what the animal eats and that it doesn’t have unnecessary fillers that don’t belong in there.

One time I ate probably way too many mushrooms and I could feel my trip going bad. So, I turned to my roommate and I said something along the lines of,
“I feel amazing but I feel like this sensation has a price and I’m about to pay it.”

This is something that Bisan said on her live tonight as the last functioning hospitable was being attacked. You hear the attacks echoing from the background. While on this live she called for her viewers to hold another global strike. The date she gave for this was January 21st. It’s heartbreaking that people are going through something like this. Spread the word. I hope one day the Palestinian people will have peace and be able to sleep without fear. Everyone deserves to be safe in their own home so speak up for their safety.
