Gravity - She’s reality’s failgirl. Weaker than the weak force; so pathetic you barely even notice her unless you’ve got a planetary object. But watch out! Unlike electromagnetism, she’s smart enough not to cancel herself out with silly things like “positive and negative charges,” so she has a surprisingly big impact in places like “outer space” and “the inside of black holes.” (What is she doing in there? No one knows!)
Electromagnetism - The most charismatic of the fundamental forces, she can be whatever you want her to be. You want light? She’s on it. Lightning? No problem. She holds molecules together and makes all life on Earth possible—not to mention cookie clicker. And all other computers, I guess. I truly believe she can do anything. She should run for president.
The Strong Force - The name isn’t ironic! Sure, electromagnetism holds molecules together—but who holds atoms together? That’s right, it’s Ms. Strong Force. She’s a real powerhouse, but wildly under-appreciated… mostly because she’s just so good at her job it makes studying her really hard! You’re probably used to forces attracting two objects together—not the strong force! She juggles 3 quarks at a time, and is so good at it she actually gets stronger the farther the quarks get from each other! If and when her hold breaks, you better watch out, because we call that “an atomic blast.”
The Weak Force - Oh, the weak force. Just because she’s not as strong as the strong force, she gets stuck with that silly name! Well, she might not seem as important as the other fundamental forces, but if you’re a fan of [the heavy elements required for life], then you owe her big time! She has the remarkable ability to switch quarks from UP to DOWN, which allows neutrons to decay into protons (and protons into neutrons!) in the hearts of stars. Without all those extra protons, atoms wouldn’t be able to get heavy enough to allow for all the complexity we see in the universe! Everyone say “thank you, weak force!”

Profit. Also so people would just forget about it like it never happened.

change ur url 😭 that wasn’t the only reason it shut down, it was also because of the multiple springlock accidents. fazbear entertainment tends to sweep things under the rug so they don’t get sued or anything.

Magic the Gathering tip: whenever you lose, it’s the decks fault and you drew bad. when you win it’s because you’re an incredible deck builder and gods perfect little spellcaster
Oh cool, do I get to apply my weirdly specific intersection of Being A Furry Kink Artist and World War Two Trivia? Rare one!
Rhoald Dahl did indeed write a lotta kids’ books that undoubtedly inspired if not created a lot of the kinks we know of today (this is the dude who wrote books about medicine that turns people into giants, and witches turning kids into mice, he is responsible for a LOT of awakenings, I imagine,) but dis you know he was also a fighter pilot in WWII who later became a VERY promiscuous spy? The dude fought nazis over Athens then fucked around a fair bit of the English socialite scene before settling down to write books for kids, some sources claim he HATED kids too! Seriously, if you ever wanna go for a ride, read his autobiography, it’s WILD
me: you should allow for disability in your utopias
tumblr: in my utopia disability does not exist because disability is a social phenomenon <3
you are missing the point the point is being missed so much and I am so tired. most utopian visions of the future do not account for anyone who is not able-bodied. sure, maybe you’re on the extreme end of the social model, but you still have to look around and wonder where all the wheelchairs and white canes and sign languages have gone
it’s not progressive or interesting to say your utopia has no disability because all disabilities are social if you’re not going to take this point seriously. there is a huge gaping hole in the popular ideas of a perfect future, and that hole is full of the disabled people supposed “progressives” shoved out of their way

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
Fandom is such a weird place. Like I watched a tv show and thought “wow, these two nerds have a lot of chemistry and I’d like to dedicate a large chunk of my life to thinking about them” so I went in search of other people who also thought these two nerds had a lot of chemistry and then it turned out that a shit ton of people were talking about these two nerds having a lot of chemistry and now it’s 4 years later and we write each other porn on holidays.
This reads like it’s hyperbole but it’s ever word true. Absolutely how this goes. Multiple times in your life, if you’re lucky.
idk why, but for some reason i find photoshopped pictures of poptart boxes with fake ridiculous, outrageous flavor names to be the funniest freaking thing
welll.. sure *sets a book down before setting down reading glasses* let me tell you a story
Once upon a time on Reddit, a horrible place really, but in that bog there were gems. r/196 was one of those gems, a place of trans love, femboy Friday, fanter, hornyposting, and some stupid discourse! It was beautiful, full of queers and fags, ah I remember the wasp discourse, anarcho-stripperism and the other various microcelebritys. But then Reddit decided to be a bitch about its api and extensions that made not only the app much better, but also increased accessibility, and were important for moderation, they decided to charge them ludicrous amounts of money to keep going, obviously meant to shut them down. So a protest was formed, unorganized but something, subreddits would go private, some for a indefinite time others a couple days to hopefully show distaste and also lower their users for a bit, 196 was one of the subreddits that went down until Reddit went back on their decisions. So before the subreddit went down we all said are goodbyes, we wept and mourned, we remembered all of our history our memes. People made decisions on where to go, I personally went here, to tumblr as a lot of our culture is similar. Others went to raddle or other decentralized platforms like fediverse. I remember a post here of the people who moved to raddle saying hi to us on tumblr.
However Reddit never undid there decision, and 196 was left private for a while, here on tumblr we still mourned, however we started posting on the 196 tag, even getting it on trending a couple times. After a while, and discussion of the subreddit it was reopened, and some came back. I didn’t go back, Reddit wasn’t good for me, as there were places like 196, there were also right-wing cesspools everywhere without a lot of ways to get away from them, and tumblr so far has been a much better experience, the only thing being terfs and the occasional rightoid but they are easily blocked, unlike Reddit.
And that is the story of 196
I may have gotten details mixed up as I tell most of this through memory
Now 196 is more than a single subreddit, it spread all across the internet, and I hope my fellows are doing well
most people actively hate trans men more than they hate cis men and it’s 100% bc they can project all of the things they project onto cis men onto trans men and punish us for those projections without any consequence or pushback
And a lot of trans men both accept this treatment and encourage other transmascs + men to bc “if you were a good guy / real feminist you would understand that no level of mistreatment you can suffer is the same as how devastating misogyny and patriarchy is for women”
Being a Real Man™️ means accepting you can Never be hurt Like a Woman Can and somehow this is not Toxic Masculinity but instead True Feminism
it’s even worse because a good portion of the transphobia that trans men experience is very deeply rooted in misogyny. but no, we can’t experience misogyny or have our oppression based in it because we don’t ~identify~ as women. as if oppressors care what we identify as. they can and will weaponize our bodies and their perceptions of them in any way they want.
We NEED to put sex and magic back on the pride flag right now
I’m fed up of people being like yea we need magic but not the sex one, sex positivity is vital to the lgbtq+ community it is not invalidating to asexual people to celebrate gay sex as something that is positive and beautiful and natural. We should be celebrating all the aspects of our community and this can include both asexuals and sex positivity
