Members of the factorae family primarily feed on scrap metal left behind in the voulliac mountains. Their diet is not limited to just scrap though, and they’re often considered pests for destroying active machinery.
The research of the factorae is relatively recent, as it seemed unlikely that there was an ecosystem hidden away in the abandoned Outersian/Draconic factories.
A. phagomitis is an incredibly tiny quadreped with strange eating habits. Groups of them will attach themselves to metal with their sharp claws. They will slowly digest it from the outside, creating a pattern of tiny holes in said metal before migrating to a new area to feed.
F. mechamaxillidae is well known, as its powerful jaws make it iconic. They will eat just about anything, preferring to predate the metal of other factorae. Mechamaxillidae live and hunt together in small families of 3-6.
B. vinulimaxae covers itself in a blanket of wires, continuously collecting more and more over the course of its lifespan. They slowly crawl along factory floors, eating whatever small scraps are available. Vinulimaxae are very shy, hiding underneath rusted machinery or old assembly lines, away from where species like mechamaxillidae are unable to reach them

So, uh, now that someone fired a gun outside of a Jewish synagogue and preschool (that was in session) here in the U.S., is now the time we can talk about rising antisemitism on the left in the U.S.?

Jews have been written off, ignored, silenced, and even threatened for bringing up the rising tide of leftist antisemitism and antisemitism in some pro-Palestinian activism. We’ve been told that it isn’t the time, that diasporic Jews’ concerns and fears can’t be addressed right now because of what is happening elsewhere, if, of course, it is even based on reality at all.
Now that shots have been fired outside an in-session Jewish preschool, rooms full of toddlers - not by a neo-Nazi, not by a white supremacist, not by a MAGA idiot, but by someone who shouted “free Palestine” - now can we talk about it?
I can speak only for myself, but I am not asking you not to care about the plight of Palestinians in Gaza, I am not asking you to support the Israeli government. What I am asking you to do is include us in your activism, to listen to us when we tell you that some of the rhetoric being used on the left is dangerous to us, to believe us when we say that there is actual antisemitism on the left.
Because if now is not the time, I suspect that the only time will be when it is too late.

Idk how people find this old post like once a week but I will say as a closeted 15 year old nothing can describe how much confidence it gave me that everyone agreed with me. That it’s all bullshit. We need a Cabin in the Woods-esque meta horror movie about a small Hallmark Christmas movie town. Some one from that small town is visiting and she’s confused as hell - she grew up in this dumphole, last time she was there it was a mess of poverty and drug use and crumbling infrastructure. She moved away to the city as soon as she could, but it’s only been a few short years since she visited. Now? Every house has a perfect white picket fence, is decorated elaborately for Christmas, every family is smiling and cheerful, everyone is employed but specifically at cute little small shops that the protagonist didn’t think can possibly be sustainable. Anyway the whole damn thing is some kind of holiday curse and the protagonist has to solve the mystery while avoiding the hunky man who exclusively sells reindeer-shaped cookies
