Acne vulgaris is a skin condition that can be caused by any of a number of different factors, most of which are unrelated to hygiene - but only a few of which are related to your genes.
“Every single piece of research done on acne” does not say that acne is genetic, because genetics are beyond the scope of 90+% of dermatologic research.
I understand why OP is frustrated: there are a lot of predatory “skin care” products sold on the basis of misinformation. But what they are saying is untrue and potentially-dangerous.
Acne is not a harmless and immutable trait like the color of your eyes: it is a potentially-treatable disease. On its own, it’s not going to kill you - but because it damages your skin integrity, it makes you more vulnerable to infectious diseases. It can also be an early warning sign of potentially-serious conditions that you could get treated before they actually become dangerous.
If you’re an adult and have chronic acne, I strongly suggest getting a checkup and asking for an endocrine workup. This is particularly important if you have any “boring”/“stress-related” chronic health issues like fatigue, depression, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal problems, lower back pain, difficulty sleeping, etc. Maybe it is just stress - or maybe your thyroid gland is acting up or you have PCOS, and taking a pill in the morning will solve every problem you’re having and prevent a heart attack in 15 years.

I see a lot of ‘cis’ women say they wish they were androgynous in the way men were or they wish they were pretty in the way men were. This is your sign to go try to do that. You may find you enjoy being an androgynous woman. You may find you no longer identify as a woman. You may find you don’t like androgyny. You will not know until you try. Cut your hair if you’ve always wanted to but have been afraid to. Shop in the men’s section if you’ve been too nervous to. Wear clothing with an androgynous  silhouette. Experiment with binding, take baby steps with compression bras if you want. Wear unisex scents. Live life. Try things you want to try. A lot of cis women do not understand the joys of mens pants and mens deodorant. I think everyone should try both of those things.

Anyways, we need more characters who don’t want to have kids, ever, no matter how much they love the person they’re with, even if that person wants kids. It’s just an absolute dealbreaker for this person, including adoption.
And they are not demonized or initialized for feeling this way, nor are they aren’t pressured into changing their minds, nor are they forced “"by chance”“ into a parenting role by finding an abandoned baby on the side of the road or whatever.
If the character was abused as a child, this fact is not used to downplay or ignore their wishes not to have kids of their own, nor is it used to show that once they "get over it” they’ll change their minds.
Not everyone wants kids, including through adoption. Not everyone wants to be pregnant. Having kids is not a requirement for having a happy and healthy and “real” relationship.
We need more stories and characters that reflect the reality of everyone, not just the ideal of the nuclear family, now edited to include Queer couples.

the kira killings stop the moment light joins the tennis club and it becomes obvious to everyone that light was kira but L doesnt want to lose their top player right before they go to nationals so it abruptly pivots back into trying to fool the police again
